It's been a few days (or 14), but I'm back! I've been busy making crafts, playing the Kinect, and acing my nursing exams. That is if you consider an 86 acing, and at this point in the game, I DO! So yes, I got a Kinect. It's basically great and I am exercising AND having a blast, that's a sound investment folks!

I plan on buying Zumba really, really, realllly soon and my life will be complete. ...And that is about it for my social life. Now I'll talk about my actual life: school.
It's definitely keeping me on my toes. I have a 7 page research paper, 3 page economic paper, and 2 quizzes due Monday and I work tomorrow. Ah. I can't wait to have real weekends someday.
On the bright side, I'm more than half way done with my first semester! Only 7 weeks to go. It's been hard. Definitely harder than any previous semester and I know it'll only get worse. UGH! I did start clinicals Thursday though. Oh it was the funnest day of my life! I got to give shots, and change dressings, clean wounds, administer medication, and of course grab diet coke, coffee, and brown sugar for my dear patients you know, the usual. Everything is finally coming together. I am no longer stuck in that awful lab all day practicing on plastic dummy's that yell at you (did I mention they can talk?). This is big time! Real people, real skin, real urine!
As for work, St. Marks is great. I love the ladies I work with and I'm learning lots everyday and I got a beautiful raise to pay for said Kinect! Hot Dog is wonderful! Those girls rock my socks off. They're all hilarious and I LOVE laughing at all of our old memories, that's 5 years worth of memories! We were all 16 when we started, freakin sophomores in high school! And now we're getting ready to graduate COLLEGE. I love that we have grown up together. Ah I love my hot dog family. Love. Love. Love! I know you've heard me say it many times before, but I love that job. I always have, and I always will. I love being a nurse and my days at the hospital, but there is NOTHING like working at Hot Dog. NOTHING.
So yes, I have the best job in the world, do you?
Haha oh Lacy I loved your comment! It's fun to read who peoples obsessions were. You're right A Walk To Remember was a good movie and Shane West was very hott. But it wasn't obsession material for me =) I don't know why. Oh but I totally forgot to add Mean GIrls on that end list! I knew i'd forget some. Such a great show. Love this post btw. I had no idea your Hot Dog On A Stick girls had all been with you that long! I'm glad you can go to nursing school and still work there AND at St. Marks! Lacy you are wonder woman!!!
