This one day, I took the NCLEX..
(May 23rd to be exact.)
I ate this for breakfast:
(fresh strawberries/bananas cut up in plain yogurt.)
I painted my nails.
And I was dressed for success wearing this:
(they made me take that hair bow out while I tested. totally stupid. it looked cute!!)
I took the test in an hour and half and finished at 86 questions. I was sure that meant I was toast (you get 4 hours of time and a max of 205 questions.) It wasn't at all like I was expecting. Well what was I expecting? And I just felt so defeated. Everyone at my work was depending on me to pass and I let everyone down. I should of taken my time. I shouldn't have rushed. I instantly started analyzing my performance. I checked DOPL 27897987987283 times looking for what I wanted so badly to see, my license. I was getting desperate, and close to paying the $8 for results when at 1056pm on Thursday the 24th the proudest moment of my life occurred. This time, when I searched 'Lacy Leann Allred' something popped up!!! My license. I started sobbing like a baby in my mother's arms.
That's what (my) dreams are made of, yogurt, nail polish, LPN's and sobbing in your mothers arms
-L Allred LPN:)
Oh and because my job is cooler than your job. I got these:
We might have celebrated all day at work...:) I put 'celebratory' in front of everything I did today! Celebratory bagels, cheers. Celebratory vitals, cheers. This is a celebratory IV removal, cheers.
Love the life I life, living the life I love.
