July 4th in Disney!

We planned this trip so we could be in Disney for July 4th fireworks and let me tell you, BEST. FIREWORKS. EVER!

So we decided to get in line for Matterhorn as single riders because we wanted to ride it again, but didn't want to wait. Well! We ended up riding next to each other AND we got to go twice in a row! We rode Matterhorn TWICE after waiting in line 30seconds. Disney Magic, friends!!

not sure why I don't own this..

no joke, I was legitimately scared
We decide to ride all the water rides this day. Don't be fooled, you get SOAKED on Splash Mountain. I was using the back pack as a shield. My bottom half was soaked, but my top half was good! Also Grizzly Rapids. SOAKED! The back pack came in handy.

Since this was our last day in the park we used every second. We got to California Adventure at 10:30 (closes at 11) and the entrance guy was like "you know we close in 30minutes right?" haha well we still had fast passes to Tower of Terror so we headed there. It was 10:53 when we got off but we really really wanted to ride Toy Story Mania one last time so we sprinted across the park to the ride and got on at 10:59. My lungs burned and I seriously didn't think I could make it, but oh man, WE DID.
Then we hopped on over to Disneyland and rode Nemo and Autopia then finished our trip off with the only decent way to: Gibson Girl ice cream!

Thursday we wanted to go to the beach but our flight left earlier than we thought so we didn't' have time. We flew home and I was back to work Friday. It was another magical trip! But in case you noticed, I went through 3 pairs of sunglasses this trip. I went to California with one pair and lost them. Like nowhere.to.be.found. So we went to Target to get some shades because you can't be at the beach without shades. I loved them, possibly my favorite sunglasses I've EVER owned. But when I put them in my purse they got so so scratched I couldn't see out of them. Alas, my beautiful white mickey aviators that I'm trying real hard to keep clean and safe.
