I got the job!
Once upon a time, I was on facebook. This kid from high school who was in a german class with me messages me and asks if i'm a "nurse thingy" and if I have a license for it. The answer is yes, and yes. Next question, do you want a job? Well, I have two jobs, volunteer, and go to school full time, but why the heck not. So I reply, "sort of." So he tells his mom (the boss) that it's a go. I hear nothing for a few weeks and I just think, oh well not meant to be. Then one day BAM text message reading "my mom is gonna call you" as I finish reading it phone rings. It's my future boss asking me to come in and get an application and bring my resume. Resume? I've never made a resume. Am I even old enough to have a resume? So I find a template and make a resume, then fill out my application. It's been years since I've filled one of those things out. Gee wiz. Anyway, turn it in, hear nothing for a few days. Last Monday I get a call asking to come in for an interview. I've never actually had a real interview so once again I feel like a noob. I go into the interview feeling scared as shiz but answer all the questions they through at me and get a tour of the place. After my interview I'm feeling nervous because I don't know how I did on the interview and I wanted it so so bad. Then there's the part about my surgery..
Yesterday I call the boss because I still haven't heard anything and I want this job! She tells me to relax and she'll call me tomorrow. Well about 3 hours later I get the call. "We are pleased to offer you the position per diem if you choose to except" I feel like my face is gonna break because I'm smiling so big. Thank goodness I got my hip fixed because I was jumping up and down like a maniac. Well, I accept and went in today to sign papers. Now I just gotta pass the drug test and background test (cross your fingers) haha just kidding and it's official!!:)
That puts me at 3 jobs, volunteering in my free time, school full time + homework double time. My life is crazy, but it all fits perfectly which to me translates into it was meant to be.
P.S. I finished my puzzle finally and mod podged it and framed it today. It's hanging beautifully on my wall and lookin good.
