Service.

There is no feeling comparable to the one you feel from giving..seriously. I am fortunate enough to work for two companies who believe in that feeling also. This is my 5th Christmas at the Dog Stand [HOLY SMOKES] and every season we have had a service project. I recently got promoted to Regional Marketeer. Basically, I am in charge of what I love:) Making fun slogans, posters, etc. to get everyone excited about our job!

So this year for our service project, I decided to include our entire region (every store in Utah) and make a tree for the Festival of Trees! Primary Children's Medical Center has a special place in my heart [and always will]. I spent a majority of my elementary school years there and it basically changed my life. Because of my time spent there I am where I am today, nursing school. So it was a no-brainer!

I give you, "A Hot Doggin Holiday"Ah! The elf! The freakin elf is too much. Love him.It felt great to have to see it finished. It was a lot of work, but it sold quickly and I'm so happy we went through with it!

Did I mention at my other job, we did two separate families from the Angel Tree? Service feels good. Try it sometime when you're feeling depressed. Get the focus off yourself and think of others, you forget what you were even complaining about..seriously!
