Sweet Success!

Well friends, I'm done! I finished my first semester of nursing school. It wasn't easy. There were several times I wanted to quit. Many times I thought of *shudder* settling as a CNA. I felt so lost. I felt so stupid. It felt impossible to complete everything they were asking of me.

But you know what?

I DID IT!

Yes, I am done. I love finishing semesters. (I mean I'll get over it in 2 years when I complete my last one but in the midst of it, there is nothing better.)

Now I will enjoy a wonderful summer. Plans include:
-re-read ALL 7 Harry books (ok I lied re-read 1-5. read for the first time 6 & 7, I know. I suck) and of course see the movie!


-read lots of other incredible novels. real novels with no citations or facts, just wonderfully written text:) and this book is first on my list:


-go to Arizona and soak up some sun since it seems Summer will never get here.


-scrapbook and craft! I want to complete my Mexico scrapbook and do pages for my vacations from Summer 2008.


-pedicures


-take German. I'm so stoked to sprechen sie Deutsch again! Yes, I will enjoy this and get credit for it. Double bonus.


-Sleep. Zumba. Drink caramel macchiatos like no one's business. Take Boom Dog for walks.


-Watch my shows on Hulu. Secret Life of the American Teenager. Teen Mom 2.


-try to get my butt to Disneyland and the beach.


-take a trip with these beautiful ladies


-And a whole lotta NOTHING.

Want to hear something cool? I have plans this weekend that do not include a study session! Tomorrow I will Zumba, go shopping for a present, get coffee, and go to dinner with my best friend for her birthday. Saturday, I'm attending a wedding shower and work. Yes, work. My life isn't a fairytale..exactly. And Sunday I also work, but Sundays at the dog stand are PRETZEL Sundays so bring it on!



I jump started my Summer break a few days early. I couldn't handle studying anymore. Seriously, I wanted to kill myself. So Tuesday night I skipped the studying and scrapbooked! It felt soooo good to complete a page. Can I even tell you how long it's been since I've scrapbooked a page? No, I actually can't because I can't remember..I also blinged out my debit card--because I could:) Then last night I went to Young Frankenstien, but unfortunately it wasn't all that great of a night. Details on my facebook but I'll dedicate another post to it as this is quite lengthy already. But I threw in pictures:)
