Yup it's finals week. Yup, I have two finals this week. Yup, I should be studying. BUT IT'S CHRISTMAS and I want to blog and watch Elf drinking peppermint hot chocolate in pajamas. sigh. The cool thing is, I will only have to do this to myself 3 more times. Wait, what? Yup, only 3 semesters left of school aka 3 more finals weeks. Well that sounds doable now doesn't it?
Life outside of school? It's been happening. Disneyland was perfect (as previously mentioned, scroll down). Thanksgiving was great. I drove down to Reno with my dear friend Dominique. We were able to pass through Elko which is where my other friend Victoria is from, neat-o! The food was fantastic and the company was great. The night I got there I sang Christmas carols around the piano with her family. Then the night before I left we sang Disney songs for 2 hours! Her dad is so amazing on piano that usually we would switch songs mid-song and he would be able to play what we were singing--no music required! Then I flew home so I could be home for Black Friday madness which was actually the most mellow Black Friday I've seen. And now we're in the Christmas season where I work everyday, but yet I still love it.
In between this studying, working bliss I managed to go to Festival of Trees, take Dommy and Danielle to 'Christmas Street', go to the symphony, try my first apple cider from Starbucks (YUM!), get an A in Nursing Theory and Research, and go to a fancy pants work dinner tonight where I sat next to the cutest boy who I will pray asks me on a date soon!
Ok that's enough, I must go back to studying health assessment, I need that A!
So excited for you =) And jealous at the same time ;) Haha. Thanks for the tid bit about the zofran side effects. So lame..but I think I would rather deal with head pain than feel like throwing up all the time haha. Or actually throwing up.
