Sara Anne Orullian

In honor of my dear friends birthday, SHE'S 21!! Here is a list of 21 reasons why I love her:

1. Sara gets me. This is my favvvorite thing about her. She knows when I'm anxious, stressed, mad, upset, and EVEN when my blood sugar is low. She knows me, yet still loves me:)

2. She's a great listener. No matter what it is about. No matter if we are talking politics, which we have completely different views on by the way, she will listen and act interested (even if she is not). If it is important to me, it is important to her. If it is upsetting me, it upsets her.

3. Sara is a way good cook. Her chocolate chocolate chip muffins were the bomb. Mostly I just admire her ability to cook because I barely know how to turn the stove on.

4. She is kind. I don't know what else to say other than she is just so kind! She has the ability to empathize with people and what they are feeling. That is a definite quality of a nurse.

5. Sara is so giving. She will bring me lunch anytime I ask her to, no matter where I am. She will give me the only cash she has just so I can buy food that week. I cant believe the generosity that woman possesses.

6. SHE IS SO LOVING. Sara loves everyone and everything. She probably loves my ex-boyfriends a little less HAHAHAHA but she still loves them. Her ability to forgive and love unconditionally is something I envy.

7. Sara is very nonjudgmental. Sara has the broadest group of friends you could ever think of. She has gay friends, lesbian friends, black friends, Asian friends, teenage mom friends. I mean this girl just does not care. If you need love and a friend, she knows and she'll be there for you.

8. She is very naïve. Sara is 21 and has never kissed a boy. If you ask me that is the CUTEST thing in the world. It makes me laugh when she asks me questions about boys or kissing because she's never been there. Oh man. Her questions give me [and her mom] a good laugh some days. "I want an escort." "You want a car for your birthday!?"

9. Sara has morals. This seems like a rare find these days. Me and Sara share the same thoughts on alcohol and smoking and everything else which makes it SO nice to be around her. There are not too many people our age who don't like to party every weekend so I'm glad she doesn't party either.

10. We're both sag's! Sagittarius that is!

11. She befriended me. Even though you might have THOUGHT I had it all together in high school. That could not be further from the truth. I was so alone and angry. I used to eat lunch in my car because I felt so out of place. One day Sara invited me to eat with her and her friends. And the rest is history. With her, I made it through!

12. Sara is my shopping buddy. If I need to go to WalMart or the mall or Target or practically anywhere, Sara will always tag along if you ask her to. And then convince you, or talk you out of buying something you need/don't need.

13. Her blond moments. These are probably my favorite things about her. They totally catch me off guard and make me LAUGH! "When does the ATM close?" BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

14. Sara's excitement. She isn't just excited about awesome things in her life and things going on there though, but she is always excited about things that happen in my (and all of her other friends') life as well.

15. Her determination. Sara is one determined soul. A lot of people have told her she can't get into nursing school and that she'll never make it. She's a little hung up in math right now, but I KNOW SHE CAN PASS! She has taken the same math class a few times. I honestly think if I had to retake any class I might have given up nursing, but not determined SARA! She has her mind set that she's going to be a nurse, so she will.

16. Sara's car. We all know a Mazda 3 is my dream car.

17. She ROCKS at doing hair. I have zero hair skills so I'm there all the time, sometimes just getting a simple pony or something. And of course, she's always willing to do whatever I ask. Gosh she's great!

18. Sara lives across the street. This is super convenient when I need her quickly.

19. Our inside jokes! Schmegg, HSN, take one, no two, yes two.

20. Sara's massages. Sara gives the best scalp massages, because of her acrylics, and hand massages, feet massages, you name it. I never even have to ask, she'll just go for it.

21. MUSIC! We share the same taste so riding in the car with her is fun. She is always making me new CD's and I LOVE IT.

Sara is basically the best person I know. I can't wait until she's a nurse. Some little kids are gonna be forever changed (and inspired) by Nurse Sara one day. If I had the time, I could write 2100 things I love about Sara. Everyone at work is ALWAYS saying how they wished they had a friend like Sara when I brag about her. Everyone needs a friend like Sara, I thank God everyday that I have mine:)
