What Am I Thankful For?

It's simple. I'm thankful for life. I love to laugh. I'm thankful for that ability. I'm thankful for my artistic side and that I get to express it often. I'm thankful for my ability to paint. I'm thankful for my ability to play piano. I'm thankful for my ability to learn, this is seriously such a blessing, especially as a student. I'm thankful for the fact that I can get an education as a woman. I'm thankful for Sara. Girl, I have no idea where I'd be without you. You pulled me through high school and many many MANY times since. I'm thankful for my momma. Looking back at all the times I was in the hospital, she was there every time. She held my hand through every test, IV, colonscopy, surgery, long night throwing up, and never NEVER doubted me even when my own dad [and some doctors] were telling me it was all in my head. I'm thankful for allllllllllllll the people I get to call my friends, especially the new friends I've met at Westminster. I have a lot of them, and they're all really great. I'm thankful for my study group. I looooove you guys and have nailed patho because of you. I hope we ALL get into nursing school so we can study again the next 2 years. I'm thankful for my bro-ha. We fought a lot back in the day, but now I can call him my friend. We have the same taste in movies and find the same things funny! And even though most of our conversations consist of movie quotes, I love them all the same. I'm thankful for my emotions, especially joy, I could do without anger but I even love that one too. I'm thankful for sunshine. There is nothing like the warmth of the sun on your face. Nothing. I'm thankful for food, particularly Cafe Rio. I'm thankful for my job. Both of them. Hot Dog has been SO good to me through the years. I am blessed to call them my Hot Dog family. I love each of those girls like a sister and would do anything they needed me to. Even cover their weekend shifts:) I'm thankful for Disneyland and all the many times I've been able to go. I'm thankful for K2 and the family I have there. I love that I have been able to bring God back in my life. And I am enjoying my walk with Christ. I'm thankful I get to go to church and worship him every Sunday. And last, but not least, I'm thankful for Dr. Pepper. Thank you Dr. Pepper, for loving me back!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING.

Next time I blog, I will [hopefully] be an accepted nursing student!
